Beloved, have you tried doing what you thought God wanted you to do but it didn’t work out? Maybe
it wasn’t that God didn’t tell you to do it. It could just be that you must commit to doing it not just try to
do it.
Gehazi laid the prophets’ staff on the child but did not persist. When Elisha came in himself he
persisted. 2 Kings 4:18-37.
Elijah before him in a similar situation also had to persist to get victory. 1 Kings 17:21.
Even Jesus had to persist, in at least one case that we know of, in order to get victory.
Jesus laid hands twice on one blind man. Mark 8:25.
