Beloved,
Did you know that there is no sin issue for the believer! There isn’t? No! Jesus broke the power of sin! Jesus took care of the consequences of sin! Jesus has forgiven us of our past, present and future sins! 2 Corinthians 5:19. Anyone who thinks this is a license to sin is not serious and is self-deluded!
The issue is righteousness– consciousness! A 24-7, all-the-time consciousness that because of the blood of Jesus, we are right with God, are His children, walk in His company and house Him in our spirits! Thus, acts of sin are utterly devoid of class, and beneath our dignity!
The more we walk in this kind of consciousness the less we will yield to the pressure to sin by word or deed, action or inaction, commission or omission!
How do you develop this kind of consciousness? Get to know the Lord better by spending MORE TIME with Him in the Word.
