Do you have a poverty mentality? See Mark 14:3-5.
I was on my way to play tennis one weekend in 2019 when the Lord asked me why I didn’t take the toll road.
“Because this way is free,” I said.
“That’s what you think,” He said. “The stress cost of being in traffic is immediate. The wear and tear cost on the car is future but it is a real cost.”
“Yeah but it’s only a 10 minute difference,” I said. “Well, it’s only $4 of toll,” He said.
Then He asked me, “Which is easier to get more of: time or money? And He answered the question, “You cannot get more than 24 hours in any day! But, you can get to where you’re receiving a lot more money daily than you are now, if you use the time saved wisely!”
He continued, “How much good can $4 do compared to how much good praying in the Holy Ghost for 10 minutes can do, for example?”
A poverty mentality will keep you from enjoying God‘s best. Don’t tolerate it!
