Beloved,
In Mark 4:35-41. Jesus told the disciples to cross over to the other side of the lake and proceeded to take a nap.
Suddenly a great storm arose. The disciples became afraid and woke him up and accused him of not caring that they were about to perish.
Jesus woke up and told the winds and the storm to hush up and they went from a great storm to a great calm! Hallelujah!
Is your life stormy right now? Are the winds howling and the water is rough and sailing is tough? It may be because the devil is stirring up stuff to dissuade you from doing what the Lord has told you to do. So, Fear not, Jesus is still on board!
In fact, don’t even bother waking Jesus up! Just do in His name what He would do if He were up! The winds and the storms will obey you just as much as they would Him!
Why? Because Faith in His name makes you the same manner of Man today that Jesus was back then, Hallelujah! See verse 41.
And you too will go from a great storm to a green calm, hallelujah!
