Beloved,
I know that if I were to ask you if God loves you, you would say “Of course,” maybe even with an attitude! The more important issue however is to what extent do you “believe the love?” 1 John 4:16
Humans are more comfortable with a God that they serve; they are not as comfortable with a God that wants to serve them! Even the very thought of that seems like blasphemy!
And yet, we all agree that God is love! Well, what is the most essential attribute of love? Isn’t it to serve the interests of the object of its (His) affection?
Beloved, when you get to the point where you unquestionably, greatly and totally “believe the love,” you will have very little problems with doubting God’s promises regarding your family, health, finances or your future.
How do you get there? Meditate on love scriptures. Begin with John 3:16.
