Beloved,
Over and over the Word says to “fear not” because fear opens the door to the devil, like faith opens the door to God. Also, because fear uses camouflages, and we must be diligent to spot it so that we can “fear not” and shut the door in the devil’s face!
Intimidation is a form of fear. Both the would be intimidated and intimidator must resist it. When you feel intimidated, you just came under the spell of fear. Resist it. Say “Fear I resist you, in the name of Jesus!” Say it under your breath if you have to.
Embarrassment is also a form of fear. Fear of the opinion of others and what they think of you. Fear that people will know that you are not such a hot rod after all! But you know you are a work in progress so don’t sweat it! Say “Fear I resist you, in the name of Jesus!”
Being shy, reserved, and timid are forms of fear. Fear of offending people to the point you will not say or do what must be said or done. Resist that!
Anger can be fear in anticipation of the loss of a thing of value. For example, anger in traffic because you are afraid you are going to be late for your appointment or to work. Resist it! Trust Jesus to make the best of the situation and resolve to leave home earlier next time and be sweet in traffic!
“Fear not” ever, beloved! “Faith” and “Love” only, always!
I love you!
Pastor Shina.
