Beloved,
In the last post we said that though the devil is a thief (John 10:10) we have to leave the front door unlocked or open for him to come in and steal. We said one way we do that is doubting God’s Word.
Another way is through lack of knowledge.
This is when we don’t know God’s will regarding, say, healing. We have no information on the matter. We have never been taught concerning the subject. We just don’t know.
However, Hosea 4:6 does not excuse us for just not knowing. Lack of knowledge is always devastating. Ignorance is never bliss in any way.
If we really want to know God’s will for our lives, or God’s will regarding whatever else we want to know about, that is our business to know about, God will find a way to get that knowledge to us, primarily through His word, whether or not our Pastor knows to teach us. Daniel 10:1-14.
So, let’s not be ignorant of any of God’s promises, so that we are not destroyed in any area of life. What do you say?
