Beloved,
“Christian” from “Christ” means anointed one. It can also refer to the anointing which an anointed one is anointed with. Jesus is the “Anointed One,” but we are chips off His block!
Philippians 4:13 says “…through Christ WHICH (not who) strengthens me” to refer not to the person of Jesus, but to the Anointing that flows from Him and is on us!
That anointing enables us to walk worthy of the Lord, enjoy the abundant life and keep the devil in his place under our feet! It is everything!
So, for “Christ’s sake,” (Ephesians 4:32) that is, for the sake of the anointing being more effective in 2025, we must be “kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving (the bottom line) one another…” lest we give place to the devil! We don’t want to do that, do we?
Unforgiveness is kryptonite to super us! It allows the gates of hell to prevail against us, it is deadly! Selah!
