Beloved,
2 Cor 10:5 says to cast down EVERY thought that is not of God. You can’t do that unless you evaluate every thought on its own.
After one thought Peter says “thou art the Christ the Son of the living God!” Moments later, after another thought, Peter is rebuking Jesus! Matthew 16:13-23. Peter should have evaluated that next thought and cast it down!
We must evaluate EVERY thought, as a single thought on its own, not in association with any other thought that we might have had right before or right after a particular thought, lest we inadvertently tune in to the devil’s frequency! The standard of evaluation is the WORD and the inward witness!
