Beloved,
I know that if I were to ask you if God loves you, you would say “Of course,” maybe even with an attitude! The more important question, however, is to what extent you “believe the love?” 1 John 4:16
Most of us are more comfortable with a God that we serve; we are not as comfortable with a God that wants to serve us! Even the very thought of that seems like blasphemy! And yet, we all agree that God is love!
Well, what is the most essential attribute of love? Isn’t it to serve the interests of the object of its (His) affection by giving?
Beloved, when you get to the point where you unquestionably and totally “believe the love,” you will have very little problems with doubting God’s promises regarding your relationships, health, finances or your future.
How do you get there? Meditate on love scriptures. Begin with John 3:16.
