Beloved,
God promised Israel the entire land of Canaan, flowing with milk and honey. Today, they only occupy a tiny fraction of it and their enemies would like to push them into the sea out of even that tiny fraction. Genesis 17:8.; Exodus 3:8.
If Israel had let Him, God would have built the state of Israel to be as large in land mass and population and as powerful as today’s powerful nations such as the US. Then, knowing Him, God would have used Israel to preach the gospel.
Like Israel, the church today will not receive God’s material prosperity! Let Pastor teach “too much” on the tithe, which is the foundation for material prosperity, and too many Church folks are out of there!
God wants to preach the gospel in dollars and cents as well, not just in tongues and the interpretation of tongues!
The material realm is bait! So far only the devil has been able to use that bait for his evil evangelism. We are supposed to be the fishers of men!
We must hearken to teaching that equips us to receive our full range of bait!
