Beloved,
King Herod wasn’t blowing hot air in Mark 6:23-24 and he proved it.
In those days a man’s word was his bond, indeed his life! Verses 26-28 say that Herod regretted giving his word but he kept his word!
Is your Word your bond? Are you a promise keeper? If you are not a promise keeper, your Faith will not receive much from God.
You will be unable to believe that God is a promise keeper when push comes to shove! It takes one to know one! The devil often sees to it that push comes to shove!
So, if you are not a promise keeper begin to be one. Don’t make promises that you do not intend to keep. Don’t tell your children, relatives or anybody else you are going to do something when the whole time you really don’t intend to do it, you are just trying to get rid of them. Don’t even say you’re going to think about it when you really don’t intend to!
Mark 11:22-24 only works for promise keepers, because it is easy for them to believe that God will keep the promise He made in those scriptures!
