Beloved,
Several scriptures such as Acts 10:36 and Romans 10:15 talk about the gospel of Peace. What is Peace? Jesus said in John 14:27 that there are two types, His Peace and worldly peace.
The Peace of God is what the world is looking for but in all the wrong places because it cannot be obtained by the accumulation of material comforts etc.
God’s Peace is a spiritual force that is imparted to one’s spirit when they are born again. (Romans 5:1) The Peace of God is the end product of the gospel.
For the believer, the Peace of God is proof that you are still in His Grace. Peace is also the proof that we are walking in Faith. Romans 15:13. YOU ARE NOT IN FAITH IF YOU ARE NOT IN PEACE!
All believers have a Commandment of Peace. Romans 12:18 says we are to “live peaceably with all men.”
Isaiah 26:3 says that we are to make sure our minds are “stayed” on God so that we can major in His Peace.
Finally, Colossians 3:15 says we are to let the Peace of God be our totalitarian dictator that we obey like a slave.
Question, beloved: Are you in violation of the Commandment of Peace? If so, receive your forgiveness and get back in line with it.
