I am led to ask you again this week: do you have a poverty mentality?
In Matthew 26:6-10 all the disciples thought it was a waste of money to anoint Jesus with such expensive commodity! Their motivation was just as impure as Judas’ in John 12:6.
More than 20 years ago I used to think it is a waste of money to fly first class because “we’re going to get there the same time anyway!”Until I experienced first class flying for the first time because the airline had overbooked the flight and bumped me to first class!
I thought I had rid myself of a poverty mentality then! Apparently, not completely, as I indicated last week.
A poverty mentality will keep you from enjoying God‘s best. Don’t tolerate it! Don’t drift into it!
