Beloved,
Know this: New Covenant praying should be more declarative than petitionary. We declare the Will of God not just petition God to do this or do that.
I don’t ever ask God to heal me if my body aches, because He already has! I declare that I am healed in the name of Jesus! And I am!
The Lord’s Prayer would read like the following in the light of the revelation of the New Covenant:
Our Father which art in Heaven, your name is hallowed. Your kingdom has come, your will is being done in earth as it is in Heaven. You have given us this day our daily bread. You have forgiven us of our debts as we forgive our debtors. You lead us not into temptation but have delivered us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Learn to declare the Will/Word of God when you pray! Don’t ask God to do again what He already did when He sent Jesus to the cross!
