Beloved,
In Acts 21:4, 10-14, as Paul headed towards Jerusalem, prophecies came forth about his safety in Jerusalem.
As a result and out of concern for Paul’s life, some believers tried to get Paul not to go to Jerusalem. That was a misinterpretation of the prophecies because going to Jerusalem was the will of God for Paul and the fact that he would confront dangers in ministry had already been made known to Paul. See Acts 9:10-16.
The Lord just wanted to remind Paul what Faith fights lay ahead although victory was certain!
The point was not to shy away from the fights but to show up better prepared for the nature of the fight so as to come out victoriously.
Therefore, be watchful (that’s the right word, not “careful” because we are to cast all our cares on the Lord) to not put the wrong interpretation on a genuine word from God.
Be a BEREAN everyday and live in GOSHEN everyday!
Acts 17:10-12; Exodus 8:22.
I love you!
Pastor Shina
